A fighter aircraft of Tatmadaw (Air) was involved in an accident during a training flight at about 5:16 am yesterday after experiencing a bird strike near Nyaunghnapin Village, about 8.5 kilometres southeast of Hmawby Township, Yangon Region. According to the report, the bird was ingested into the aircraft’s engine, causing an engine fire.
