While on a State Visit to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing, currently in Phnom Penh of Cambodia on the State Visit, laid a wreath to pay tribute at the Independence Monument and the memorial bell-shaped pavilion housing a statue depicting late His Majesty King Norodom Sihanouk, in Phnom Penh at 3:10 pm local standard time yesterday.
While on a State official visit to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing held a meeting with President of the National Assembly of Cambodia Mrs Samdech Khuon Sundary at 5 pm local standard time yesterday at the meeting hall of the National Assembly building.
A high-level Myanmar delegation led by President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing left Nay Pyi Taw Airport by special aircraft yesterday morning to pay a State Visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia at the invitation of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation has announced that 21,933 acres in Namsang Township, Shan State, have been designated as the “Namsang Protected Public Forest” as of 1 September 2026, issued in exercise of the powers conferred by Subsection (e) of Section 6 of the Forest Law promulgated in 2018.
Myanmar exported more than 300 species of fishery products to over 40 countries in the first five months of the 2026-2027 financial year (April-August), generating over US$225 million in export revenue, according to the Department of Fisheries in Nay Pyi Taw.
