100th pair receive kidney transplant at Aungban’s Tatmadaw Hospital

 

The 40th kidney transplant operation, marking the 100th pair, was successfully performed at the Tatmadaw Hospital in Aungban on 25 and 26 September.

After the operation, both the patient and the kidney donors’ health is improving, and they are receiving necessary medical care.

Kidney transplant surgeries are also performed at Tatmadaw hospitals in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, PyinOoLwin and Aungban. The Aungban Tatmadaw Hospital began performing kidney transplants on 28 January 2022, and has now completed 100 pairs, including the current four pairs.
