Tachilek inspects livelihood training, VDP project completion in 3 villages

 


THE Department of Rural Development, under the management of the Shan State (East) DRD, conducted a field inspection to review the implementation and completion of a livelihood-supporting carpentry training course and Village Development Project (VDP) activities in three villages in Tachilek Township yesterday.

Shan State (East) Department of Rural Development Head U Myo Min Thant, Tachilek District Department Head Daw Amar Lwin, and Tachilek Township Department Head Daw Lei Lei Thin inspected theoretical and practical lessons of the carpentry course in Pan Kyi Hat Model Village and provided training materials to trainees.

Officials then inspected two village concrete roads in Huekhaik Village and Panaut (Old) Village, which have been 100 per cent completed under the Village Development Plan (VDP) for the 2026- 2027 financial year. They met Village Development Committees to discuss long-term maintenance strategies and provided necessary coordination for requirements presented.
