Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing received Chinese Ambassador Ms Ma Jia and her delegation from the Chinese Embassy to Myanmar at the Union Minister’s reception room in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
They discussed the
smooth running of immigration and visa issues between Myanmar and China, the
entry and exit of Chinese nationals including Chinese businesspeople, into
Myanmar with various entry and exit visas and the Ministry’s handling of
residence permit issues, the legal entry and exit of residents living in the
border areas between Myanmar and China through border checkpoints, the
investigation and taking legal action against foreigners including Chinese
nationals who illegally enter Myanmar and involve in online fraud activities,
the conditions to continue facilitating immigration issues based on the
fraternal friendship between Myanmar and China.
