DEPUTY Minister for Construction U Myo Myint, accompanied by members of the Chin State Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Committee, inspected road projects, government offices and staff housing in Haka, Chin State, on 8 July.
He first
visited the Mission School on Tatkon Hill, where he paid respects to senior
monks and made donations. He then inspected the road-widening work on the
Monywa (Nyaungbingyi)-Pale-Gangaw-Haka Road between kilometre markers 313.460
and 313.580, instructing officials to ensure workplace safety, improve
drainage, prevent landslides and complete the project on schedule.
The deputy
minister also inspected departmental offices and staff housing, urging timely
maintenance and the provision of necessary facilities for civil servants. At
a meeting with officials from the Building Department, Road Department and
Department of Urban and Housing Development, he called on staff to follow
civil service regulations and SOPs, maintain professionalism, improve their
skills and perform their duties responsibly.
