DEPUTY Minister for Construction U Myo Myint and officials inspected shops along Bogyoke Road in Falam Township yesterday, calling for measures to ensure the availability of quality goods at affordable prices.
They
also visited the temporary general hospital, observed healthcare services and
encouraged patients receiving treatment.
The
officials later visited the homes of residents who had returned to their wards
and reviewed the distribution of construction materials, household goods,
relief supplies and food provided by the government. They coordinated the
provision of further assistance and encouraged residents to repair homes
damaged during the violence.
They
also met returnees, reviewed the progress of Citizenship Scrutiny card
applications and coordinated further assistance with the relevant authorities.
