Relief supplies for Chin State rehabilitation arrive in Kalay

 

Relief supplies provided by the Mon State Government for rehabilitation efforts in Chin State arrived in Kalay from Yangon aboard a military aircraft yesterday.

The supplies comprised 132 packages of dried noodles and assorted dry provisions, in 145 cartons, and 368 five-litre bottles and 15 two-litre bottles of cooking oil, with a total weight of 7,590 kilogrammes.

Officials from relevant ministries and departments, led by Deputy Minister for Border Affairs Maj-Gen Kyaw Swa Oo, also accompanied the relief supplies to support rehabilitation efforts in Chin State, according to reports.
