A ceremony to warmly welcome back the triumphant frontline Tatmadaw members who courageously served duties in Muse Township, Shan State (North), was held at the local battalion in Mongtwan, Shan State (East), yesterday.
Commander of
the Triangle Region Command Maj-Gen Soe Myat Htut, relevant departmental
officials, war veterans’ organization and local ethnic people welcomed back
returning soldiers with heartfelt enthusiasm.
The
commander and officials welcomed back the victorious Tatmadaw members with
sprigs of Eugenia and presented the cash prizes to the returnees. The event
included traditional dance and music performances.
The commander and party had lunch together with the victorious Tatmadaw members.
