Union Industry Minister inspects MSMEs in Mandalay

 

Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than inspected UK crispy fried onion workplace in Kyaukpongon Village, Thazi Township in Mandalay Region and met township-level departmental officials and entrepreneurs yesterday.

During the meeting, the Union minister highlighted the guidance of the State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister to produce value-added finished products using agricultural products. The UK’s crispy fried onion industry, rooted in agriculture, requires collective efforts to achieve greater success. It needs to prioritize food safety for public consumption.

The government has established a fund to promote the MSMEs and grants loans to the business persons. Those who receive loans should invest properly only in MSMEs.

The Union minister inspected thriving onion field of Daw Mon Mon Htay in Kuphyu Village, Thazi Township.
