HKTDC invites participation of Myanmar Consulate- General in 18th AFF

 

Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) cordially invited the Myanmar Consulate-General in Hong Kong SAR to participate in the 18th Asian Financial Forum (AFF) that is scheduled to be held on 13-14 January 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

HKTDC will provide one exhibition booth free of charge for the Myanmar Consulate-General in the AFF Global Investment Zone. Investors, chambers of commerce, and related associations from Myanmar can send representatives to join the investment sessions to explore business partners or opportunities at the exhibition booth of the Myanmar Consulate-General, which HKTDC provides.

The Myanmar Consulate-General has not participated in the previous forums. This time, the standard hospitality booth worth US$5,700 will be provided free for the Myanmar Consulate-General in Hong Kong SAR.

The annual AFF serves as a premier platform for influential leaders in finance, business and government to convene and share insights, addressing critical issues regarding promoting global development from an Asian perspective, business opportunities, exploring new business ventures and sustainable economic models. The AFF 2024 attracted 3,600 participants from over 50 countries. This year, AFF will be held under the theme of “Powering the Next Growth Engine”.

AFF will offer insightful keynote speeches from industry pioneers and policymakers from China, Hong Kong SAR and global leaders, engaging panel discussions focusing on global economic trends and regional opportunities, networking opportunities with senior executives and leaders, interactive workshops, innovative financial technologies showcase highlighting cutting-edge solutions and one-to-one deal-making meetings for investors.
