Airstrikes falsely reported to have killed 3 locals, including 4-month-old infant in Muse

False information that Tatmadaw launched airstrikes at 11 pm on 3 December near Namkhwan Village in Muse Township of Shan State (North), resulting in three deaths, including a four-month-old infant, has been circulating on social media pages by malicious media outlets. Tatmadaw conducts counter-terrorist operations to ensure security and law enforcement. During the armed engagement near Namkhwan Village of Muse Township on 3 December, artillery shells of terrorists fell into the village and exploded.

Tatmadaw did not launch airstrikes in those areas, and malicious media outlets that do not support the counter-terrorist operations of Tatmadaw and people spread false news and misinformation to cause disintegration between the people and Tatmadaw.
