AS Chairman of the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee Mandalay’s Bhamo Monastery Sayadaw Abhidhaja Maha Rattha Guru Abhidhaja Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika Dr Bhaddanta Kumara Bhivamsa is receiving healthcare services at the Mantaungyeik general medical ward of Mandalay General Hospital, member of the State Administration Council U Maung Ko, Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung and wife and officials on 16 April evening paid homage to the Sayadaw to ask after health progress.
The SAC member heard reports on the progress of health conditions of the Sayadaw, close supervision for healthcare services, and further plans by Deputy Director General Dr Win Naing and officials of Mandalay Region Public Health and Medical Services Department. The SAC member and the region chief minister gave instructions on special healthcare for the Sayadaw and fulfilled their needs.
At present, Chairman Sayadaw, 94 years and 74 vasa, is being provided necessary healthcare services by specialists at the SICU at the Mantaungyeik general medical ward. Health conditions of the Sayadaw are in progress.
