THOSE who want to establish a political party are applying to the Union Election Commission by stating the name of the party they want to establish. To date, there have been 13 parties that have applied for the right to establish parties. Among those that applied, the following two parties were found to comply with the political parties’ registration law and regulations, and the Union Election Commission approved the application for the establishment of the two political parties yesterday.
1. Union Development Party
2. Democratic Forces Labour Party
These two parties, which have the
right to establish a party, must apply to the Commission for registration as a
political party under Rule 7 of the Registration of Political Parties within 30
days from the date of approval. To date, three political parties have been
allowed to be established and the other parties that have applied for party
establishment are also being scrutinized.
