Message from Mr Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation to Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on the occasion of the 75th Diamond Jubilee of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the Russian Federation

PLEASE accept sincere greetings on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our states. 

Russia-Myanmar ties are developing in an upward direction. We have succeeded in significantly expanding political contacts, and mutually beneficial cooperation in the trade and economic, military and technical, humanitarian and other areas. Russia and Myanmar stand together for building a fair multipolar world order based on genuine equality and the rule of international law.

I am convinced that by joining our efforts, we will manage to further build up constructive bilateral interaction in all spheres. This, no doubt, meets the interests of our people and contributes to strengthening security and stability in the Asian-Pacific region.
