Message from Mr Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation to Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on the occasion of the 75th Diamond Jubilee of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the Russian Federation

ON behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation and from me personally, I am sending You greetings on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

I would like to emphasize that Russia-Myanmar relations are based on the principles of friendship, partnership, mutual respect and consideration of the interests of each other. The cooperation in trade and economic, science, technology and humanitarian areas is developing gradually. Joint projects are being carried out in the energy sector, industry, transport infrastructure, education and high technological spheres.

I am convinced that our active collaboration at the governmental level will contribute further to expanding practical cooperation and promoting new mutually beneficial initiatives. It fully meets the interests of the Russian Federation and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

I wish You, dear Mr Min Aung Hlaing, good health and new success in Your responsible activity, happiness and well-being to all citizens of Myanmar.
