KYAW TIN, Union Minister for International Cooperation received Mr. Lee Taeho,
Vice Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea on
24th January 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw.
During
the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on the matters pertaining to the
enhancement of bilateral relations and economic cooperation, to increase
provision of assistance from the Republic of Korea to Myanmar government’s
efforts on all-round development and rural area development sector of Myanmar
through Samuel Undong Project, matters related to successful holding of
ASEAN-ROK Commemorative Summit to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of ASEAN- ROK
Dialogue Relations and the first Mekong-Korea Summit in 2019 and ROK’s support
to overcome challenges faced by Myanmar during its transitional period.
