Mukhamu
embankment in Nyaunglebin Township was reportedly breached and there is a
possibility of nearby villages of Ngakyi Aing, Bhamawtaw, Eka 500, Chaung Kyo,
Sipin and Lay Ein Su being inundated.
People
in these villages are being notified to prepare for moving to higher grounds
and to be reported in a timely manner of situation.
The
government is cooperating and working together with relevant departments and
civil society organisations, said the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and
Resettlement.
