25th governing board meeting of SEAMEO CHAT held

 


The SEAMEO CHAT is a collection of South-East Asian historical and cultural heritage, which has created opportunities for scholars, researchers, teachers and students to exchange knowledge and ideas, while it has helped strengthen regional networking and future cooperation, said Deputy Minister for Education Dr Zaw Myint.

The deputy minister made this statement at the SEAMEO CHAT 25th Governing Board Meeting held at the SEAMEO CHAT meeting room in Yangon on the morning of 16 September.

Ms Pnitip Iamnirath, Deputy Director at the SEAMEO Secretariat, also delivered a welcoming speech.

The meeting reviewed and discussed the activities of the department, and discussions, consultations, and decisions on future work are being made.

The meeting was attended in person by the deputy director at the Secretariat and management members from Brunei and Myanmar, while management members from Cambodia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam participated online.
