Youth Affairs Committees Meet with Red Cross

 

The Myanmar Central Youth Affairs Committee and the Yangon Region Youth Affairs Committee met with representatives from the Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS) yesterday morning at the Yangon Region Government Office.

During the meeting, opening remarks were delivered by Union Minister for Youth Affairs Dr Maung Thin, who is also First Vice-Chairman of the Central Committee and, alongside Chief Minister of Yangon Region U Aung Naing Thu, who is Chairman of the Yangon Region Youth Affairs Committee.

Following the opening addresses, Professor Dr Myo Nyunt, President of the Myanmar Red Cross Society, Deputy General Secretary Daw Aye Aye Nyein, Assistant General Secretary Daw Ei Ei Htwe, and attendees presented updates on their ongoing operations and initiatives. Union Minister Dr Maung Thin then concluded the session with closing remarks.
