Renovation continues for damaged offices in Falam, Tiddim, Tonzang

 



UNDER the supervision of the Chin State Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Committee, local companies performed renovation work on departmental office buildings in Falam district and township that were damaged by the violence.

Deputy Minister for Border Affairs Maj-Gen Kyaw Swa Oo, along with the minister for Chin State Security and Border Affairs and members of the Chin State Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Committee, inspected the renovation work yesterday.

Similarly, Tiddim Township Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Committee Chair U Zaw Naing Oo and committee members inspected the damage to the four-room, two-storey building of the Township Promotion and Propagation of the Sasana Department’s staff housing, the Auto-Exchange of the Myanma Posts and Telecommunications and the drain cleaning work of Dr Vungh Suan Thang Road in Myoma Ward as well as the construction of a retaining wall on the Lintong Road and Luisu Road.

Additionally, the secretary of the Tonzang Township Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Committee, inspected the partially damaged departmental buildings, such as the renovation of the Township General Administration Department’s new office, the renovation of the Youth Training School’s student dormitory, and the renovation work of the four-room staff housing complex of the electricity office.
