Individual registration for December JLPT opens online starting 1 August

INDIVIDUAL applicants intending to sit for the December Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) can submit their registrations online starting 1 August, according to an announcement by the JLPT Test Organizing Committee and the Myanmar Association of Japan Alumni (MAJA).

For the upcoming examination, individual candidates are required to complete their pre-registration details before application submission. The committee noted that applications for novices, monks, nuns, and candidates under the age of 10 must be processed exclusively through the online system. Online registration will be available without days off at 4:30 pm from 1 to 7 August. Candidates who successfully secured examination slots for the July test are exempt from re-registering. However, those students encountering issues accessing their accounts are advised to contact MAJA for assistance.

Each email address is strictly limited to one registration and one application submission. Applicants must ensure that their name spelling and date of birth are entered accurately. While corrections can be made during the designated period, approval will take up to three days. Furthermore, modifications will not be permitted if the name or date of birth conflicts with identification cards. Applicants are strongly advised to fill out the registration information personally. An activation code link will be delivered via the applicant’s personal email address. Payment methods for the examination fees include local cards — specifically eCommerce-registered MPU cards — and KBZ Pay QR codes, as confirmed by the JLPT Test Organizing Committee and MAJA.
