UMBEEA Leaders Shine in Asia’s 50 Under 50 CEO Awards

 



According to the Union of Myanmar Bamar Ethnic Entrepreneurs Association (UMBEEA), its members have won awards at the Asia Prestige 50 Under 50 CEO Excellence Award 2026, which honours outstanding business leaders in the ASEAN region.

The event was held on 3 July at the Shangri-La Hotel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Over 500 attendees, including business leaders, CEOs, investors, diplomats, and government representatives from across Asia, gathered to celebrate business excellence, leadership, innovation, and international cooperation.

At this ceremony, UMBEEA’s members: Daw Nang Thinzar Aung (CEO Excellence Award), Daw Yin Yin Myat (CEO Excellence Award), Daw Su Hlaing Win (CEO Excellence Award), Daw Thu Zar Win (CEO Excellence Award), and Daw Marlar Myint (CEO Excellence Award) received the CEO Excellence Award 2026.

UMBEEA stated that these awards recognize the recipients’ outstanding business management, leadership skills, innovative thinking, and efforts towards the development of Myanmar’s business sector. Achieving such international recognition showcases the capability and quality of Myanmar’s entrepreneurs on the global stage.

UMBEEA has announced that it will continue its efforts to develop MSMEs in Myanmar, enhance the capacity of entrepreneurs, and expand international business networks.
