60 Korea returnees eligible for Samsung Insurance: EPS Centre

OF the Myanmar EPS workers who returned to Myanmar after they worked in South Korea, about 60 are eligible to claim Samsung insurance, said the EPS Centre in Myanmar.

HRD Korea has announced that the returnees, who have not yet claimed the insurance for the return journey cost and gratuity, are urged to contact the regional EPS centre.

It doesn’t concern illegal stay, but workers who have been under the insurance cover are eligible, it said.

The regional EPS centre has released the list of 58 eligible workers – name, passport number and the claim amount and it has urged former EPS workers to check the list to see whether their names are included.

For more information, workers can contact 09 426217648 between 9 am and 5 pm, said the regional EPS centre.
