Senior General visits No. 17 Heavy Industry factory (Malun)

TATMADAW Commander-in-Chief Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and officials visited No. 1 Heavy Industries Enterprise No. 17 Heavy Industry factory (Malun) near Malun Village, Upper Minhla Township, Thayet District, Magway Region yesterday afternoon.

First factory officials explained about a brief history of the factory, manufacture and sale of compactor, trailers, mini-rice mill, tractor, tri-motorcycles and farm machineries in the meeting hall and then responded to questions raised by the Tatmadaw Commander-in-Chief.

The Tatmadaw Commander-in-Chief then toured the factory and shops and presented cash presents to the factory personnel.

Later in the evening Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla accompanied by officials paid homage to the Shwebontha Muni Pagoda in Pyay District, Padaung Township, coordinated on conducting maintenance and repair works on the pagoda platform and presented cash donations for pagoda all- round maintenance works to the pagoda trustee, according to the news release of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.
