State Counsellor receives Indonesian Minister, Japanese Ambassador

Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counsellor and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Dr. H. Wiranto, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on 8 May 2018 at 10:00 am.

During the meeting, they discussed matters related to Rakhine State and Indonesia’s assistance for Myanmar’s democratization process. Also present at the meeting were U Thaung Tun, Union Minister for the Office of the Union Government and National Security Advisor, U Kyaw Tin, Union Minister for International Cooperation and responsible officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Similarly, State Counsellor and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs Daw Aung San Suu Kyi received Japanese Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Ichiro Maruyama at 11:00 am. During the meeting, they discussed on the matters relating to bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
