Sitagu
International Buddhist Missionary donated ambulances and cash to Rakhine State
yesterday to help redevelop the state which saw armed attacks by terrorists.
The
missionary representatives led by Sayadaw Dr. Ashin Nyanissara presented an
ambulance and K100 million each for Yathedaung, Maungtaw and Buthidaung
townships.
The
aid is dedicated to the revitalisation of health, education and resettlement
sectors of the conflict areas in the state.
The
donors handed over the aid to local authorities in Yathedaung, Maungtaw and
Buthidaung townships during their visits.
During
the visit to Maungtaw, the missionary representatives led by Sayadaw Dr. Ashin
Nyanissara formally inaugurated the operation theatre of Maungtaw People’s
Hospital.
