Vice President U
Myint Swe received General Fang Fenghui, Member of the Central Military
Commission of China and Chief of Joint Staff Department of the Chinese People’s
Liberation Army of the People’s Republic of China and party in the Credentials
Hall of the Presidential Palace yesterday afternoon in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the
meeting, cooperation in the security sector and matters relating to the Myanmar
internal peace process were discussed.
Present at the
meeting were Minister of State for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Tin, Chinese
Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Hong Liang and officials.
