Commander-in-Chief
of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Canadian Ambassador
to Myanmar H.E. Mrs. Karen MacArthur yesterday morning at Bayintnaung guest
house in Nay Pyi Taw.
During
the meeting, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing explained matters relating to how
the Tatmadaw is treading on the political path steadily and in a stable manner,
with expectations to stand firmly amidst the world as the peace process
progresses toward ending armed conflicts. The Canadian ambassador also
discussed matters on its co-operation regarding the reform of Myanmar and its
socio-economic development, its investments in Myanmar inclusive of
hydro-electric power generation and involvement in Myanmar’s peace process.
