Htin Kyaw, the President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Mr.
Hiroto Izumi, special adviser to the Prime Minister of Japan, yesterday morning
at Credential Hall at the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw.
During
the meeting, they discussed further strengthening friendship between Myanmar
and Japan, enabling higher investments in Myanmar by Japanese entrepreneurs and
providing assistance programs for development of Myanmar. Also present at the
meeting were Union Ministers U Thant Zin Maung, U Kyaw Win, U Win Khaing and
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Tin.
