Illegal timber confiscated in Pauk township

Police from Pauk township confiscated over 50 tonnes of illegal timber in Pauk township on Sunday in Magwe region.

“The seized timber are Padauk and teak. We confiscated timber from the four places on Sunday,” said Police Major Zaw Wn Sein from the Pauk township police station.
“Currently, we confiscated four 22-wheeled vehicles and one bulldozer, said U Nyein Chan, the head of forestry Department in Pauk township. Police are still investigating the case.
