POLICE members from township police stations across Yangon Region, in cooperation with local administrative bodies, relevant departments and traffic police, continue efforts to maintain law enforcement, reduce crime and prevent criminal activities.
Yesterday, police and traffic police teams of Kyimyindine, Twantay, Hmawby, Taikkyi, Hline, Dagon and Dala conducted surprise vehicle checks, mobile and fixed patrols, bicycle patrols, and public awareness activities, including distributing pamphlets and educating students and the public on using pedestrian crossings safely.
Similarly, on Wednesday, the police from various townships also conducted mobile, fixed and night patrols, checked guest lists and inspected KTV venues as part of ongoing crime prevention and law enforcement efforts.
