THE 4th Mekong-Korea International Water Forum was held at The Westin Chosun Seoul hotel in Seoul, the Republic of Korea, yesterday morning.
The Myanmar
delegation, led by U Myo Myint Maung, Chargé d’Affaires/Ambassador of the Embassy
of Myanmar in the Republic of Korea, and U Kyaw Swe Lin, Permanent Secretary of
the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, attended the forum.
This year’s
forum was held under the theme “Climate Resilience through Digital Water
Management in the Mekong Region”.
At the
high-level dialogue, U Kyaw Swe Lin, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of
Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, participated as a panellist.
The
Mekong-Korea Water Resources Forum, which was launched in 2022, serves as a key
platform for discussions on water management cooperation between the Mekong
countries and the Republic of Korea, as well as sustainable development.
