Sitagu Sayadaw donates US$10,000 to flood victims in Nepal

 

THE Sitagu Sayadaw donated US$10,000 to people affected by devastating flash floods in Nepal, presenting the donation to the Nepali Ambassador to Myanmar at the Sitagu International Buddhist Academy in Yangon on the evening of 13 September.

The donation was the second round of assistance for people who suffered loss of life and property in the flash floods that struck Nepal on 26 August.

The Sayadaw had also donated US$30,000 to assist people affected by the devastating earthquake in Nepal in 2015.
