President U Min Aung Hlaing meets Government of Rajasthan officials in India

 


PRESIDENT of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing left Nay Pyi Taw Airport by special aircraft yesterday morning to pay an Official Visit to the Russian Federation.

The high-level Myanmar delegation led by the President arrived at the international airport in Jaipur of Rajasthan State of the Republic of India at 10 am local standard time. The President and party were welcomed at the airport by the Cabinet Minister of the Medical and Health Department in the Government of Rajasthan, Gajendra Singh, and officials from the cabinet, Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) BrigGen Zaw Moe Lwin and officials.

At the lounge of the airport, the President met the Rajasthan Cabinet Minister of the Medical and Health Department and cordially discussed his official visit paid to India in June at the invitation of Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi, the discussions on further strengthening friendly ties and cooperation between Myanmar and India during the visit, extensive relations between the peoples of both countries, and the best situation of bilateral relations within the region, further enhancement of cooperation between the two countries, and efforts to promote border trade measures.

The President and the Rajasthan Cabinet Minister exchanged commemorative gifts.

The President and party continued their journey to the Russian Federation via the international airport in Jaipur. They were seen off at the airport by the Rajasthan Cabinet Minister of the Medical and Health Department and cabinet officials, the Myanmar Military Attaché and officials.
