THE Araham Missionary Dhamma College, an initiative under the Araham Foundation’s first missionary programme, has opened admissions for laypersons, monks, and nuns to enrol in its Batch-7 Diploma in Dhamma Studies (Araham Dhamma Mamaka) programme and its 9th Dhamma Literature Course.
The
tuition-free diploma programme will be conducted entirely online via Zoom over
12 months, consisting of three academic semesters. Designed to emphasize deep
understanding and practical application rather than rote memorization, the
curriculum includes open-book examinations. The programme is open to
enthusiastic learners of all ages, including Buddhist monks and nuns seeking to
strengthen their foundation in Pariyatti studies and Buddhist scriptures.
Although
tuition is free, students must maintain a minimum attendance rate of 85 per
cent and will be assessed through assignment submissions and compliance with
academic regulations. Upon successful completion of all three semesters,
graduates will be awarded the Diploma in Dhamma Studies (Araham Dhamma Mamaka).
The diploma
is recognized by Buddhist universities in Thailand, India, Nepal, and Sri
Lanka. Graduates will be eligible to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Dhamma
Studies and may also have opportunities to participate directly in the Araham
Foundation’s ongoing missionary activities.
