Joint authorities have continued the systematic removal of structures linked to online scams and illegal gambling in the Shwe Kokko area, with a further seven-storey illegal building demolished by controlled blasting.
Officials
said the building was among those identified for demolition as part of the
ongoing clearance of facilities used for illicit operations in KK Park and
surrounding areas.
Of
the 77 identified buildings, 57 are being dismantled using machinery, while 20
are being demolished by controlled blasting. With the latest demolition, a
total of 64 buildings have now been removed.
Authorities
added that 13 illegal structures remain and will be systematically demolished
in the next phase of the operation.
