Nay Pyi Taw locals cheer return of frontline Tatmadaw troops

A ceremony to honour and welcome back Tatmadaw members returning from the frontline after carrying out duties related to local security and stability in and around Shwegyin-Bawkahta was held yesterday evening at a local battalion in Lewe of Nay Pyi Taw Council Territory. The event was attended by Nay Pyi Taw Command Commander Maj-Gen Kyi Thaik, along with personnel from the Nay Pyi Taw Command, relevant officials, departmental personnel, residents and students.

The returning troops had carried out military operations on the front lines day and night to help ensure that ethnic communities across various regions and states could live and work in peace, with the security of their lives and property safeguarded, and to maintain national stability and peace.

The commander and party welcomed back the returning Tatmadaw members with sprigs of Eugenia. The event also featured traditional dance and music performances.
