A ceremony to warmly welcome back the triumphant frontline Tatmadaw members who courageously served duties in Kya-in-Seikgyi Township of Kayin State and its vicinity areas was held at the local battalion in Myeik in Taninthayi Region, yesterday.
Commander
of the Coastal Region Command Maj-Gen Kyaw Kyaw Han, along with personnel,
departmental officials, members of Myanmar War Veteran Organization, military
officers, other ranks and locals, welcomed back returning troops with heartfelt
enthusiasm.
They
also welcomed home victorious Tatmadaw members with sprigs of Eugenia and
presented the cash prizes to the returnees. The event included traditional
dance and music performances.
