Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Ko Ko Lwin received the Chief Executive Officer of Thailand’s PTTEP International Limited, which is collaborating with the ministry, in Nay Pyi Taw on 8 May.
They exchanged views on enhancing cooperation between Myanmar and Thailand in the electricity and energy sectors, technological solutions that enabled the drilling of new and infill wells to further expand exploration and production activities in Myanmar’s offshore blocks, development matters related to Block M3 (Aung Theinkha project), which is being implemented to increase electricity generation in Myanmar and investment opportunities in Myanmar’s deep- sea port projects.
