Myanmar authorities arrested seven Chinese online scammers in Metmung Township of Shan State (North).
The
combined force continued its investigation about 45 kilometres southwest of
Metmung, and arrested one Chinese male near the Thanlwin River yesterday
afternoon, whereas another Chinese national on the same afternoon and five more
Chinese nationals involved in online scams and gambling operations had been
attempting to evade arrest.
Offenders
will be taken to action under the law.
