Tatmadaw conducted counter-terrorism operations and regained complete control of Kyaukme in Shan State (North).
Meanwhile, the BEHS 1 Kyaukme reopened yesterday, and students peacefully attended the school, and the school enrolment process is also ongoing.
A total of 836 students enrolled
yesterday, and 1,042 students are currently attending the school. The Ministry
of Education provided the students with books, stationery and other materials.
The Immigration and Population Department also checked the returnees to Kyaukme
with their household lists and issued citizenship scrutiny cards. Security
force members conducted mine clearance operations at departmental offices and
public areas in Kyaukme. Medics and nurses of the Ministry of Health and
Tatmadaw offered healthcare services by establishing temporary hospitals at the
Labamuni Chinese communal temple, and rendered healthcare services to 107
patients yesterday.
