People’s Military Service Training 15 begins across various commands

The opening ceremonies for the People’s Military Service Training 15 were held at various military commands yesterday. Eligible citizens attended the military training in their respective regions. The commandants of training depots gave opening speeches.

Chief ministers of regions and states, commanders, and relevant officials attended the ceremonies, met the trainees of the People’s Military Service Training 15, and presented them with cash awards, food items, and essential supplies. They also greeted and encouraged the trainees.

The People’s Military Service Law was enacted as every citizen is under a duty to safeguard Our Three Main National Causes: Non-disintegration of the Union, Non-disintegration of national solidarity and Perpetuation of sovereignty. The People’s Military Service Law came into effect on 10 February 2024, aiming to conduct military training courses.

The first intake commenced on 8 April 2024, and those who have completed the People’s Military Training are currently serving in various military units, fulfilling their responsibilities for national defence and security.
