MoD provides children with stationery

 

State Administration Council Member, Deputy Prime Minister, Union Minister for Defence General Maung Maung Aye, attended the stationery handover ceremony for students of the 2025-2026 academic year yesterday.

The event was attended by the officials of the ministry, students and parents who are the staff of the ministry.

Speaking at the event, the Union minister highlighted the school enrolment week that begins on 22 May for 2025-2026 academic year, provision of stationery, text books and school uniforms by the government for the students, free admission activities, and the need to follow the school rules, to be healthy and to study well.

He also urged the parents and teachers to guide the children to be smart people with five essential skills and to be reliable ones for the country. He presented the stationery to the children of the staff.
