State Administration Council Member Mahn Nyein Maung, accompanied by Ayeyawady Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win and officials, attended the launching of electrification in Ngatesu Village and river pumping ceremony in Kanyinngu Village in Yekyi Township, Kyonpyaw District in Ayeyawady Region.
The SAC member and party first
attended the launching of electrification in Ngatesu Village to mark the 63rd
Peasant’s Day. The electrification project was conducted using K114.770 million
of the 2024-2025 regional budget. The project established a one-mile 11 kV
power grid, 11/0.4 kV, 200 kVA one transformer, and 45 electric meters
installed for 187 households in the village.
They proceeded to the river water
pumping project in Kanyinngu Village and inspected the summer paddy plantations
irrigated by the river water pumping project.
They observed the harvesting of a 10-acre winter peanut field and Phoo Yadana
peanut grinding processes in Kyundaunt Village, Yekyi Township.
They then paid homage to Sayadaws
of Shwezedi Monastery in Hnawgon Village and made donations.
They inspected the preparations for
the 63rd Peasants’ Day ceremony in Kangyidaunt Township and sunflower
plantations in Thaboung Township.
