MIFER Union Minister hosts dinner for Russian delegation

 

Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Kan Zaw hosted a dinner event for the delegation led by Mr Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, who are currently in Nay Pyi Taw to attend the 5th meeting of the Inter-Governmental Russia-Myanmar Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, at Horizon Lake View Resort in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

Also, present at the dinner were State Administration Council Member Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo, SAC Member General Nyo Saw, Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein and Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe.

It was also attended by Union ministers from relevant ministries, the chairman of the Union Civil Service Board, the chairman of the Myanmar-Russia Friendship Association, the chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council, the governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar, Russian minister and deputy minister of Economic Development, representatives, president of UMFCCI, Russian Ambassador to Myanmar and other departmental officials.

At the dinner, the Union minister and Russian minister gave speeches, and the attendees extended their wishes to accelerate the bilateral cooperation.
