Traditional handicraft fair attracts public attention

 



THE traditional handicrafts trade fair, which is in progress at Times City Jewellery Mall in Yangon, has caught much attention of visitors.

Lucky Pot organizes it, and it will take place from 1 to 3 November.

The exhibition features textiles, food, accessories, handmade products, and local products that reflect Myanmar's traditions and culture. “All booths exhibit local products. It can catch the public attention. This is the third time we organized,” said a member of Lucky Pot.

Pasoe, longyi (male and female sarongs), and scarves are the most popular at the event, and people buy them to be used in the Tazaungdine Festival.

“It includes velvet scandal shop and wooden scandal shop and traditional weaving textiles such as scarfs, blankets and silk wares,” she said.

People who love Myanmar culture are invited to join it.
