Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn received Mr Atul Aneja, a strategic analyst from India, at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, they discussed issues related to promoting friendly relations and the dissemination of factual news between Myanmar and India, as well as the media landscape in both countries, which are influenced by Western media. They also exchanged views on matters related to collaboration not only in the media sector but also across other fields between the two nations.
The meeting was attended by U Win Kyaw Aung, Permanent Secretary of the ministry, departmental heads, and relevant officials.
