The Government of Myanmar, valuing its citizens, is committed to ensuring that Myanmar embassies and consulates, in coordination with relevant embassies and ministries, take action to ensure that Myanmar nationals abroad can return home safely and promptly, no matter the difficulties they may face.
The Myanmar Consulate-General worked in coordination with the UAE’s Department of Immigration, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization, and the relevant employment agencies to secure an out-pass for Myanmar national Ma May Thingyan Aung, who had been facing difficulties while working in Dubai, the UAE. She departed for Yangon on the Dubai-Chengdu-Bangkok-Yangon flight, arriving back in Yangon at 9:35 pm yesterday.
The Myanmar Consulate-General continues to assist Myanmar nationals in the UAE who are experiencing difficulties and helps them return home. The government, through the efforts of the Myanmar Consulate-General and the Myanmar Embassy, continues to facilitate the repatriation of Myanmar nationals who encounter difficulties while working abroad. Families of the workers have expressed their deep gratitude to the government, the Myanmar Consulate-General, and the Myanmar Embassy for their assistance in rescuing their loved ones during times of distress.
