THE second day of the 6th Myanmar Cardiology Conference commenced yesterday morning with six lectures delivered by leading experts. Cardiologists from Myanmar, China, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and the United Kingdom shared insights on various topics, including preventive measures for cardiovascular diseases, screening and treatment methods for coronary artery disease, advancements in hypertension therapies, the progress of cardiac pacemaker treatments, and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in cardioversion. Discussions also covered cardioversion for arrhythmia and emerging approaches in cardiovascular care.
Attending general practitioners and
physicians from Myanmar actively participated by asking questions, sharing
their experiences, and exchanging practical treatment strategies with Myanmar
cardiologists.
The conference successfully
concluded in the evening, fostering valuable knowledge exchange and
collaboration in cardiology.
